There are a few rules about our affiliate program you should know about. No “gotchas” here, just some terms to keep everyone happy. 

1. Self-referrals are not allowed. 
2. Abuse or gaming will result in having your account banned.
3. No search engine ads unless expressly approved (especially on branded terms or domain names), Facebook ads, or other ads that would compete with our own marketing and cause potential confusion for customers. 
4. No pretending to be acting on behalf of us (ie. as an employee).
5. We reserve the right to change the Terms of Service for our affiliate program at any time. 
6. We reserve the right to terminate your affiliate account for violating any of the rules at our sole discretion. Commissions generated by mechanisms that violate our Terms of Service will not be paid or owed.

Commission rates are as follows:

1. 50% for any membership level referral, in perpetuity. Example: If you refer John Doe, who purchases month membership at $27/m, you will be credited $13.50/m for as long as he continues to pay membership dues. If he upgrades you will also be credited for 50% of the upgrade fee. 
2. 25% for any courses or video purchases. 

Referrals are credited to the link of the person who the referral clicks first and the cookie will never expire. This means that someone can't "steal" a referral from you and you will be credited no matter how long the referrals takes to sign up after clicking your link, so long as they do so using the same computer and browser they used to click your link. It is possible that someone may clear their browser cookies, in which case it is not possible to keep the tracking in place for credit. If you believe you should have been credited for a referral (of a friend for example), please email support@helpformen.com and we'll work with yo on a case by case basis.

We will pay out once per month and after your affiliate commissions hits $100 USD.
